Unusual property, has really kind staff with this one staff member. Stunning and magnificent location with bars and restaurants next to the place. Great weekend in this pretty nice area.

Spectacular location in the Douro area was a plus. Besides, it was just next door to the river and the windmills on top of the hill as well as the gorgeous vineyard of Quinta da Aveleda. The room was top-notch and brand-new, and with an extraordinary view to the lake and the hills and forest view.

Didn't like the area, it was a bit disappointing.

Peaceful and absolutely perfect location in Castelo de Paiva, near to a restaurant, and other water sports. The king room with terrace, balcony, large bathrooms.

The staff was thoughtful and the room brand-new and top-notch. The location of the hotel was amazing, right on the banks of the Douro river. What's more, it was right by the nicer restaurant, the hill top church and the windmills.

We ate at a good restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We had a nice bedroom and there was an absolutely breathtaking view of the forest from its window.

The restaurant here was top-notch for dinner, we both ordered casual dishes. The beds were big, view at sunset was outstanding.

Spectacular and quiet location, we were so close to the hill top church of St Domingo, the nicer restaurant and wineries to visit. There was a terrace restaurant nearby.

Truly enjoyed my wonderful stay for a chilled holiday. I've booked double room on level 7 and everything was wonderful. It had brilliant and exceptional location, just off the nature next to the river, Wachau valley, and the bar restaurant. Moreover, I went to the lake, it's 30 minutes walk away.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at a beautiful hotel in the Douro Region. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the river. The staff made us feel right at home, providing friendly and professional service. The indoor swimming pool was a treat, being open 24 hours and allowing us to take a dip whenever we wanted. And let's not forget the extra-special river view room that was worth every penny. an unforgettable experience.

Can be described as a fairly nice experience, 100% recommend. The staff is polite here, the services are courteous, and location is fab close enough to restaurants and amazing Douro river. Bright panoramic rooms, they are provided with a balcony and bedrooms plus mountain views.
